Family Nurse Practitioner

Clinical Interests:

  • Family medicine
  • Women’s health
  • Orthopedics
  • Medical missions

Sandra sees patients at the Pigeon Forge office.

Sandra is unlike most people who live in Sevier County in that she was actually born here! She and her husband, Ken, have four children—two of them near home, one in Atlanta and one in Raleigh. Sandra has been practicing here for 12 years and enjoys working in a practice where the staff is like extended family. Prior to working at Foothills Family Practice she worked at UT Hospital in Women’s Health. She teaches nursing classes and works directly with students from ETSU and Carson Newman.

Sandra is proud to be an East Tennessean and sees it as a privilege to give back to the community through their church, Rural Medical Services, and just serving her friends and neighbors. She loves to hear a patient say thanks because she knows that she has made a difference in someone’s life which is her purpose at work everyday. Whether you are one of those rare native residents, just passing through on your way to Dollywood, or somewhere in between, Sandra would love to provide high-quality, caring medical care to you and your family.

She loves to travel and can be packed to go anywhere in the world with about 30 minutes notice. The next time you are in ask her about ancient Egyptian History as well as her cat and chocolate lab (you might want to ask about the family, too).
